Mahogany Turned Enclosed Form Bowl (10/15/2006)
Not too big of a deal, but turned another enclosed form bowl this weekend. Even though mahogany is a dream to work with I find it a bit too plain for bowls, so I used it as another chance to get familiar with hollowing tools. I had started this blank at the David Marks class so it looks much like the one I turned there (see previous update above).
Mahogany, ~5" dia, buffed danish oil:
