Turned Pens and Pencils (Various Years)
When we went searching for pens and pencils to photograph for this website, we were surprised to only find the 2 we're too embarrassed to give away. It seems all the "good" pens/pencils were given as gifts before we took pictures. So.... these aren't our proudest achievements, but they get the idea across.
These are zebrawood blanks and pen/pencil kits from Penn State Industries. The kits haven't impressed us with their quality, but they're acceptable. We much prefer the heavy cigar pens. This particular set was actually turned by my wife. She has really taken to turning pens and pencils on the lathe. It's great to have her interested in woodworking right along with me:
