Toys To Donate To "Toys For Tots" (2005)
This is the second year our woodworking group decided to make and donate toys to the "Toys For Tots" organization. It's a bit early in the year, but hopefully we can exceed last years total donations. Here are a few of the spinning tops I've completed so far- all for a GREAT cause.
Maple, walnut, ash, and oak tops:
Mostly hard maple with a bit of tulipwood and paduk on the 2-piece tops:
Maple, and cherry tops:
A walnut top, 2" dia, 2-3/4" tall:
A cedar top, 1-1/4" dia, 2" tall:
